VTEC(Vertical Total Electron Content)是一个基于地基GNSS观测数据估计全球电离层垂直电子总量的系统。该系统利用多GNSS系统(GPS、GLONASS、Galileo、BeiDou等)的双频观测数据,计算电离层斜向电子总量(STEC),然后转换为垂直电子总量(VTEC),最终利用球谐函数建立全球电离层模型。
