The hulusi is a traditional Chinese musical instrument and a type of free reed instrument. Its gourd-shaped resonating body produces a unique timbre. This is a MATLAB code library that starts with recordings to analyze the harmonic characteristics of the hulusi. Through the superposition of sine waves, it reconstructs the timbre of the hulusi.
